This is a true piece of trivia, don't remove
[edit]During Dave Matthews Band's 2008 Summer Tour, Carter has worn Footjoy golf gloves to play the drums.
1:1 copy
[edit]This is a 1:1 copy from http://www.davematthewsband.com/band/band_bio.asp?member=Carter&pic=2
It also appears at [1], and various other sites that can be found from a google search. ugen64 03:07, Sep 24, 2004 (UTC)
- Unless we have the website's permission (and if we did, it should have been included on this page), it's a copyright violation. Same deal with LeRoi Moore. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 02:13, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- I've created a temporary subpage for this article. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 02:42, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Copyvio problem resolved
[edit]The material in question has been removed. Now, the article just needs to be re-expanded (using one's own writing, of course). Thanks to Petaholmes for moving the temp page to the article space. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 06:20, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)
New Photos coming!
[edit]As with the photos of Jeff Coffin and Rashawn Ross, the Dave Matthews Band has a photographer who is sending new photos where we can clearly see Carter Beauford with his drumkit. Hang on a week or so, and we'll have that, and better (and more recent) photos of several of the other members of the band as well, plus a new one of Tim Reynolds which is more representative. They will be GDFL BY-CC at the very least. --leahtwosaints (talk) 13:12, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
Comment from Carter Beauford himself
[edit]Carter Beauford sent a message via email mentioning that a very large percentage of what has been written about the Dave Matthews Band is baseless and unfounded. He also asks that the personal section about his marriages and children please be left out of the article. I'm sad about it, but I believe he has a right to his privacy, and to Wikipedians, fans or not, respect the wishes of people in their public and private lives. Thus, I ask for support in removing the "personal" section here. It's not real info on him and does involve minor children. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 21:04, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
