Hi, The recent introduction of a disambiguation page is under discussion at the talk page there - like you (I think) I don't approve of it at all, & want to revert to the former situation, where the main etching article covers the art and historical articles. I will have to revert your edit of today, but please vote to Support my proposal at Talk:etching. Thanks Johnbod 12:43, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
Please use English
[edit]I noticed that you have posted comments to the page User talk:Sebmol in a language other than English. When on the English-language Wikipedia, please always use English, no matter to whom you address your comments. This is so that comments may be comprehensible to the community at large. If the use of another language is unavoidable, please provide a translation of the comments. For more details, see Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. Thank you. —Psychonaut 12:01, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry this ist right. But on the page the user itself writes also another language than english. Please warn him still in the same way. Otherwise I find your arguments wrongful. Greetings --Wst 13:23, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

AARP
[edit]Thanks for setting up the disambiguation page, but the redirect introduces an error: The organization is no longer named "American Association of Retired Persons"; it's official name is just "AARP". Could you undo the redirect?
Thanks. Guanxi 18:46, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Your Block
[edit]hi, dear Wst. Aren't you a bit unhappy about your indefinite block in the German Wikipedia? I mean you done so much good work there, you created a range of articles you worked so about 5 years there, you were very sedulously, it did not have to come really so far. So I would be very sad about. Best regards your fan --62.158.108.4 (talk) 21:09, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Wst. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Wst~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
