In INDIA Alliance Section KEC Leader of the party is "K. Francis George".

"Thomas Chazhikkadan" is repersenting KEC(M), he was previous MP from that party. He lost in 2024 election from Kottayam Lok sabha Constituency in Kerala. Jbt498 (talk) 01:02, 7 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Seat Count

[edit]

The current count of Congress seats in the is 99. However, there are 2 independent candidates who contested without any party symbol but were aligned with Congress during the election and received support from the party. Since they contested with Congress' backing, it seems more accurate to count them as part of the Congress tally. Secondly they are still members of Congress.

  • There should be a total of 101 for Congress, instead of 99. Including these 2 independent candidates as part of the Congress tally would provide a more accurate representation of the party's strength in the Lok Sabha.
  • Those 2 Independents are Pappu Yadav and Vishal Patil are members of INC, they are just refused to get tickets, they fought as independent.
  • Pappu Yadav recently campaigned for Congress in Jharkhand election, as a party worker he was given duty from the party.[1], [2], [3], [4], The party would have given him responsibility only if he was its member and these sources are saying the same. This year he merged his party with INC. [5], [6].
  • And Vishal Patil is grandson of former Congress Chief Minister, he was refused a ticket because of alliance, but still he is a member of Congress. [7], [8], [9]. the sources clearly showing that party crossed 100.

Congress party (INC) have 99 members only not 101. It is a mistake in wikipedia for Loksabha page. And BJP have 241 members. AndTMC have 29 members. Sourav110899 (talk) 10:51, 27 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
