Playoff results?

[edit]

Does anybody know results of the playoffs? All I was able to get reliably was the 2006 Final; I can't find records or matchups for anything else, and the opponents don't mesh with division names for the old article text for 2004. —C.Fred (talk) 03:12, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Information Added for 2006.

Roster

[edit]

Roster updated for 2007, also added country flags for each player. Sparky-sama 09:47, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hello,

I'm the author of the unofficial fan site of the Gwinnett Gladiators. We were wondering what happened with the link to our site that we place here around the 15th of March as it seems to have disappeared today. In reviewing the page history for the Gwinnett Gladiators, we noticed that C. Fred believed that the addition of the link was germane to the article on the 16th of March. Today's roster update must have accidentally merged our link out.

Would someone be kind enough to reinstate our link to the state of C. Fred's very nice last edit?

Got it. (And thank you for not re-adding your own link, but leaving somebody else to do it! That'll get you my vote as one of tonight's three stars. :) ) —C.Fred (talk) 00:04, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, C. Fred, that's quite alright. This Wiki thing is too new to me and I know less than enough to be dangerous, here. :)

Three stars -- Heck, I'll take that skate around the rink right now :)

And thank for your refinement on 16 March, too! We want to play nice here while at the same time raise our Google search hits.

ooops! I think I know what might have happened. Someone had messed up the flag tags on the roster, and I reverted the page, to the most recent correct edit, and I guess because the URL was added either before or after it got removed. Sorry XD

Sparky-sama 03:43, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think someone might have merged-out this link again. Would someone please add back http://gladiatorsforum.org to the External Links section for me?

Thanks!

Fair use rationale for Image:Gwinnett Gladiators logo.gif

[edit]

Image:Gwinnett Gladiators logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:22, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

ECHL Transition from Ties to Overtime

[edit]

It appears that the ECHL went from having ties to having OT, so the stats I found at http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/leagues/echl1989.html look different for the 2006--2007 and 2007--2008 seasons than from previous seasons. The current season-by-season record chart only has a column for ties. How should it be modified to accommodate the change?

Affiliation

[edit]

The dropping of the Blackhawks from the NHL affiliation (and the related AHL team) is backed up by this press release from the Gladiators.[1]C.Fred (talk) 21:23, 11 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Future after Tharchers?

[edit]

Just wanted to know what will become of the team now, hope they move into Phillips Arena, rename "Atlanta (or Georgia) Gladiators", and show the NHL and everyone that Atlanta is a hockey city they shouldn't have left out to dry. --110.32.75.69 (talk) 06:20, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Split proposal

[edit]

A separate Mobile Mysticks article should be created, rather than just having a redirect to this page. The team does not carry the Mysticks history. As such, historical and statistical data for the Mysticks should be moved to an article specific to that team.  Cjmclark (Contact) 16:48, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have created the article and am sourcing and expanding it.  Cjmclark (Contact) 17:46, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
