More Wikifying Needed

[edit]

This article could still be wikified further. Perhaps broken into sections for easier reading? --Wolf530 21:35, Nov 22, 2004 (UTC) This article looks to be a wholesale copy-and-paste from Encyclopedia Brittanica, vol. 2., available on google books. I Agree

[edit]

For example it should be said that Alfieri is a leading figure of Italian literature because, in his production, he uses some stylems of Pre-Romanticism, the only one in Italy along with Foscolo. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.20.205.247 (talk) 15:08, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Place of burial

[edit]

The article states that "Alfieri and the Countess of Albany are buried at the church of Santa Croce at Florence. He is buried between the tombs of Machiavelli and Michelangelo." with a request for a citation. I have a citation for the placing of his tomb in the nave, but not for where he is buried. The tomb's inscription does not say "here lies", but is merely dedicated to him. Can anyone state with citation where in the church he is buried? If not, I shall amend it to merely mention the location of his tomb. Exbrum (talk) 21:34, 11 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Literally works

[edit]

I noticed the article barely names any of his literary works by name, I suggest a bibliography section is made by someone who can find citations. - Kevo327 (talk) 09:58, 28 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
