This seems to be a vanity page. Check it out for yourself before voting. Seems like it is never going to expand past where it is now, and has little potential to become encyclopedic. May also be considered an advertisement of some sort. I'd like to see everyone's opinions. Thanks. --Randy 01:46, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Gee, how popular is she? If the author of this sentence can't be bothered to flesh this out (no pun intended) and explain why, it'll likely remain an orphan. Delete. - Lucky 6.9 03:03, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Abstain for now. She is a pornstar. She has been on Howard Stern's show. Not sure that she is famous enough for an article though. DCEdwards1966 04:29, Nov 30, 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: Not substantially different from the run of the mill to stand out. N.b. that I would have speedy deleted this for potentially being a libel. Imagine a kid putting up a picture of an ex-girlfriend or girl he hates on Wikipedia and calling her a porn star. When an article is this much of a substub, we can't assume good faith. The consequences of being wrong are too serious. Geogre 04:33, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Keep for now. The substub is only 30 days old by my calculations. Try not to let your own imagination get the best of you Geogre. —RaD Man (talk) 06:28, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- If Geogre had speedily deleted this, we would have had to go through VfU to know that it's about the not particularly notable porn star in question. I think you have to do more than get on Howard Stern's show to be "notable", so I'm abstaining until someone produces solid evidence of this woman's track record (links appreciated). - What is your vote? Geogre 03:46, 1 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. If it's indeed 30 days old, obviously no one felt compelled to expand the substub. stub is also POV. Come back when the article actually has some information. Mgm|(talk) 14:09, Nov 30, 2004 (UTC)
- Delete for now. --GRider\talk 22:39, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. We don't delete stubs, we expand them -- but I didn't realize there was a time limit to do so. Please provide the link to the help page that explains that 30-day old stubs should be deleted. Chuck 22:46, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Weak keep. Google returns 37,100 hits for "Selena Silver", so notability is at least possible. Substub nature is not a reason to delete. --Goobergunch|? 03:02, 1 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Just another pornstar with a website--only 1/4 the hits of Ashley Blue, who's won an AVN award for her work. Niteowlneils 03:07, 1 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Seems just as notable as any teen pop 'celebrity'. Undoubtably has more exposure. George\talk 03:22, 1 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Delete spam. Not sufficiently notable to meet my reading of the criteria for inclusion of a biography. Comment: The google test is known to be skewed upward for anything porn related. 37k hits might be plenty for another topic and still be insufficient for this.
- Keep, all it need is some more biographical info. -- Crevaner 10:24, 2 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep - No reason to delete, there are many other porn stars on wikipedia. Selena Silver is even notable since she's been on Howard Stern show. -- Old Right 11:31, 2 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. I just don't feel motivated enough to vote keep, I need to be given some sort of incentive. Everyking 19:58, 3 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Appearing on Stern is not enough in itself. Nor is fucking for money. -R. fiend 17:56, 4 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep Wyss 12:08, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC) Seems accurate.
