To User:David Parker You apparently had some info that he was not duke of Prussia and filed it under rubbish. A 1588 coin III Gross Ar (Triplex Silver Groschen) clearly identifies Georg Friedrich as Duc and Dvx Prvssiae. I had added this on the Georg Friedrich site. That was removed. I re-inserted it on Talk/G.

Moved from Georg Friedrich to Georg Friedrich, Margrave of Brandenburg-Ansbach, as the former could be anybody. User:Opera hat, 11.52, 11th March 2005

Links?

[edit]

I was looking at the entry for the film The Piano Teacher (La Pianiste) based on the Elfriede Jelinek novel. There is a list there of actors appearing in the film, some of whom have links to their own Wikipedia entries. One of those links brought me here. Now what I would like to know is: If Georg Friedrich died in 1603, how come he plays "man in drive-in" in a film from 2001?

Needless to say, I understand that there has been a mistake with the links, perhaps there is no entry for the actor and the Margrave of Brandenburg-Ansbach was the closest thing. I'm not sure how to fix it so I'll leave this comment here and a similar one on the Piano Teacher entry and hopefully it can be sorted out!
