Miscategorization?

[edit]

Why is Paterson categorized in the withdrawn nominees category if he was appointed by Washington and served on four different Supreme Courts? Vote to delete category?--FeanorStar7 14:14, 29 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Final Destination upon death (Ballston Springs vs Ballston Spa)

[edit]

In the article (and the source document), his destination is mentioned as Ballston Springs, New York. The link is red because there's no article by that name. As far as I know, there is no town or village by that name in New York. However, there *is* a village named Ballston Spa, New York. I'm guessing this might be the actual destination, given what's known about Ballston Spa ("At one time, the village was famous for its mineral water spring used for healing in sanatoriums"), and what's written in the article:

He was on his way to Ballston Springs, New York to "take the waters" when he died at the Albany, New York home of his daughter and Van Renssalaer son-in-law.

So, I think it should be changed to Ballston Spa, New York, but wasn't sure how to handle the fact that the reference cited mentions Ballston Springs, not Ballston Spa. Any thoughts? Gabefarkas (talk) 14:49, 9 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
