- Per WP:RS and WP:IS, please provide proper sources for the citations. Per WP:V, if there's absolutely no reliable and independent source of these activities, it cannot be added, even if it seems obviously true. Ferkjl (talk) 12:26, 9 April 2021 (UTC)
Correction to second paragraph
[edit]Hi,
My name is Ben and I work in the communications team at Aviva. We've spotted an error on the page that we'd really like your help with please.
Currently it says:
Aviva also has a focus on the markets in Europe and in Asia and in particular the growth markets of China and South East Asia.
This is no longer the case. Could it be corrected to:
Aviva also has a focus on its core markets in the UK, Ireland & Canada.[13]
Thank you very much for your help with this.Ben Moss 1980 (talk) 15:08, 24 November 2021 (UTC)
Insurance Reviews by Consumers
[edit]Hi, I think this page would be improved by the addition of reviews citations. I am the proprietor of a site that does this - with the Aviva page being: https://worryandpeace.com/@aviva
I believe this is a valuable addition to the page because it is well documented that Google includes reviews data in the calculation of its PageRank algorithm.
I am attempting to be ethical and explore how we might form part of a cohort of sources - I have seen Trustpilot is well-cited, by virtue of the fact they began earlier? I am unclear what the credibility pathway is for a newer site that seeks to be a source.
Thanks for the help in advance!

Some proposed changes please
[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
I work at Aviva and would like to suggest some edits to the Aviva Wikipedia page please:
- Specific text to be added or removed: I would like to suggest that this sentence "It has about 33 million customers[3] across 16 countries.[4] " Is amended to "It has about 18 million customers in the UK, Canada and Ireland".
- Reason for the change: We have recently reduced the number of countries that Aviva operate in which has also changed the number of customers that we have.
- References supporting change: https://www.aviva.com/content/dam/aviva-corporate/documents/about-us/about-aviva-2021-q3.pdf and https://www.forbes.com/power-women/#3f7bb8ee5e25</ (Aviva is mentioned under Amanda Blanc's ranking)
Many thanks - HayleySandford (talk) 16:33, 17 December 2021 (UTC)
