Hello JBrodsky and welcome to Wikipedia! Hope you like it here, and stick around.
Here are some tips to help you get started:
- To sign your posts (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).
- Try the Tutorial, and feel free to experiment in the test area.
- If you need help, post a question at the Help Desk
- Follow the Wikipedia:Simplified Ruleset
- Eventually, you might want to read the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines.
- Remember Wikipedia:Neutral point of view
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Good luck!

[edit]JBrodsky, welcome to the site, and thanks for all the great information you've been adding. I hope you're enjoying it so far. One thing, though: you might want to familiarize yourself with the principles outlined in policy documents like What Wikipedia is not and Neutral point of view. Writing for an encyclopedia requires a certain amount of formality and a lack of bias—phrases and sentences like "heralded as a masterpiece by experimental luminaries" and "Neu! 2 is the bane of Puff Daddy's existance, because it proves that it was Neu! who truly invented the remix, roughly two and a half decades before he claimed that" may be problematic. Take a look at how I rewrote those sentences in Neu! for an example, and if you can, please think about rewriting some of the other passages in your articles from a more factual perspective. If you can't, don't worry too much—someone else will take care of it eventually. Thanks! —Triskaideka 19:37, 3 Sep 2004 (UTC)
