YOSAKOI survived vfd. See: Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/YOSAKOI -- Wile E. Heresiarch 04:58, 18 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Untitled
[edit]- Greetings from the bad guy, who put Yosakai on VfD: I just couldn't make any sense out of the original article. It has improved a lot. -- Pjacobi 10:47, 29 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Photograph
[edit]Someone removed the photo that came from the Japanese Wikipedia, citing privacy concerns. I don't know about other countries, but at least in the US, photographs of people participating in public performances (like parades, which this appears to be) are not protected by right of privacy. Any comments?
It is hung on the argument with the thing that publication is stopped because there is a problem of the portrait rights about the photograph of yosakoi by Japanese edition on the occasion of the publication of the photograph. It tried to record it in the range that it didn't cause the trouble of the portrait rights because there was an opinion of but, that it partly opposes and that it opposes because a child's face is growing dim as for the image : Bon festival dance convention 2004_282.jpg and it thinks that infringement on portrait rights can't be said.
- I think the previous picture had more energy and interest, but if the people in it didn't want to have their pictures on Wikipedia, the new one will be a substitute. Thanks for posting it, and for the explanation. Fg2 08:45, Aug 29, 2004 (UTC)
- It restored the photograph of Yosakoi Festival because it seemed that the explanation of "Though the problem of the portrait rights seems that be by Japanese edition, that doesn't occur in English edition." could hang by the notebook of the clause of Yosakoi Festival . I am sorry to trouble it.MASA 04:57, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Merge
[edit]Yosakoi deserves one article, but I'm not sure it needs two. I think they can be merged. Fg2 00:29, July 21, 2005 (UTC)
