[edit]Whilst Tony James played with Generation X, the individual's article includes much of his other work elsewhere. Such as with London SS, The Sisters of Mercy, Chelsea, Sigue Sigue Sputnik etc.
I do not think merging these separate entities will achieve much of worth.

- Sorry, I was just in the process of typing out my rationale for the merge (damn edit conflicts). I was going to suggest merging much of the (more) detailed Generation X history from the Tony James article to this one (not the entire article). It seems a bit bass ackwards to me, the way it stands at the moment. Thoughts? --Kurt Shaped Box 23:20, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
True, this page is too heavy on genX lineup history; a link to genX is enough for that. --65.138.19.247 06:08, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Genxlp.jpg.JPG
[edit]Image:Genxlp.jpg.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

thanks from someone else not in middle to high latitudes of the Northern hemisphere
[edit]As the headline says, thanks User:John, you altered "Autumn 1976" to "late 1976", in the Billy Idol page.
For those of you who are in the middle to high latitudes of the Northern hemisphere, Autumn does not occur in the tropics, and in the mid to high latitudes of the Southern hemisphere, those who use the term use it for the time around the months of March, April May.
"Use the term", many cultures do not divide the year in 4 seasons, 2, 3, 5, 6 seasons are used, if not more. The Western European division of the year is merely one way of looking at the cycles of the year Brunswicknic (talk) 13:54, 6 May 2017 (UTC)
