Welcome!
[edit]- Here are some extra tips to help you get around Wikipedia:
- If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills, try the Sandbox.
- Click on the Edit button on a page, and look at how other editors did what they did.
- You can sign your name using three tildes, like this: ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp too. Always sign comments on Talk pages, never sign Articles.
- You might want to add yourself to the New User Log
- If your first language isn't English, try Wikipedia:Contributing to articles outside your native language
- Full details on Wikipedia style can be found in the Manual of Style.
But, as I asked on your anon Talk page, please don't remove templates without doing what they ask you to. I've moved the "Michael Garber" page to your User page. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 19:31, 8 May 2005 (UTC)
Your message
[edit]That's OK. But always remember to 'sign' your messages (as described above) — I had to go to the history of my Talk page in order to find out who had left me the message.
What needs to be added to any article is information that brings out its Wikipedia:importance: that is, its suitability for an encyclopædia. This is a serious matter, because if the article is spotted by someone who has strong views about notability (an exclusionist), and nominates it for deletion, there are lot of editors who have similarly strict views, and the article would be in serious danger of failing the vote. Hey from a Seed
[edit]Hi Mike,
I don't think we have ever met, but i've read your writings on Seedsnet and i believe i added you on facebook. My name is Tom and im an old maine seed. Its fun to see other seeds editing on here. Anyway, I created stubs on various SOP topics, including John Wallach and The Olive Branch. Take a look and see if you want to add anything. Take care--Thomas.macmillan 17:52, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
