I am a nerd and software developer. My qualities and experiences are in defining and analysing specifications, mainly related to the workings of file systems and, to some extent, programming languages.

I have written formatting and reading software for file systems such as Apple DOS 3.3, FAT, HFS, HFS+, ISO 9660 and UDF.

Specific projects I've worked on (I mean as an engineer, not just as an editor on the wiki pages):

• OSTA: specification of UDF 2.0.
• DirectCD for Mac OS 7-9
• Joliet Volume Access, which is a file system for Mac OS 7-9 to read ISO 9660 / Joliet / Rock Ridge CD-ROMs.
• Toast for Mac OS
